MJCET has entered into a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with Redpine Signals under its Wyzbee University program on 4th April 2016. Redpine Signals is a US based MNC with branch offices in Hyderabad and other countries and specializes in designing chips and products related to Electronics and Communication Engineering. The company has come up with its latest platform called WYZBEE for Internet of Things and is interested in promoting the use of this product among young engineers.
On behalf of MJCET, The MoU was signed by Mr. Zafar Jaweed, Hon Secretary, Sultan Ul Uloom Education Society in presence of Dr. Basheer Ahmed, Advisor cum Director, MJCET and Dr. Kaleem Fatima, Professor and Head, ECE Department, MJCET. On behalf of Redpine Signals, the MoU was signed by Mr. N. Venkatesh, Sr. Vice President,As a part of this MoU, an industry driven course named IoT for Device Development is being offered to third year engineering students of ECE Department of MJCET. Dr. Mohammed Arifuddin Sohel will be conducting classes of this course which is followed by students doing mini project in the summer vacations. The company will support by providing limited number of wyzbee kits to the students free of cost.
