DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATIONThe MJ College of Engineering provides vast games and sports facilities to its students. The College has outdoor playfields like Football, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Tennis & Netball in its campus. The College has sophisticates Basketball court with Flood light facilites.
We have indoor games facilities in which we have provided Table Tennis, Badminton, Carroms & Chess
We have a mini Gymnasium Hall comprising a multi Gym of 12 stations, and another multi Gym is of 4 stations. A part from these Gym we have weight training sets with parallel Bar, Bar, Bench Press, Twister, Exercise Cycle of threee different types, Number of studnts approximately attending out door games activities are 150, Number of students attending indoor games acitivities are 100.
We ara taking the services of qualified coaches to impart coaching to our students in three games .
• Basketball • Cricket • Football.
The MJ taking teams ara participating in the state level and All india level competitions and brought laurels to this institution. The college teams ara regularly participating in the Inter College tournaments orgtanized by Osmania University in all the games. Our teams ara also participating in the various tournaments conducted by the different Associations.
It is petinent to mentioned here that the college is giving full attendance to the students for the days they are busy in the tournaments. We ara also giving cash award to the students securing 1st and 2nd place in the tournaments, and cash award is also given to the students selected for Osmania University team and cash award also sanction to students represented state teams. We are providing playing uniform to all our teams participating in the Inter college tournaments and refreshment charges ara paid along with the transportation charges.
The MJ College is organizing Inter College Osmanai University Football tournament from 25 years continously. We have also conducted Osmania University BAsket ball Inter College tournaments at our campus in the year 2010.
We ara also conducting A.P Inter Engineering tournament in Football and basketball every year at our campus.
The college is conducting every year intramural tournaments in all the games to create competative spirit in the students every year. We ara giving cups. Mementoes and Merit certificates to winners and Runners teams.
