Chairman

Mr. Khan Lateef Mohd. Khan is a multifaceted personality with a distinguished career in academics and business. After graduating from the Osmania University, he continued his studies in the USA and obtained his B.S. degree in Engineering from Eastern Illinois University and MBA from the University of Indiana. He was elected Chairman of the Society in 1999. He is also the Editor-in Chief of the popular Urdu daily Munsif from 1996.

Mr. Md. Waliullah is an arts graduate who is keenly interested in the education sector. Apart from being a Board Member in SUES, he is also the promoter of a public school in Hyderabad.

Mr. Zafar Javeed is associated with the Society from 1992. Apart from Sultan Ul Uloom Education Society, he is also associated with three other institutions in the capacity of Chairman and Vice-President. He also served as Chairman, AP State Wakf Development Committee, Board Member of HUDA and Member, Central Film Censor Board, Hyderabad.

A graduate from the Osmania University he is presently the Joint Secretary of the Society.  He is a professional Real Estate Developer and a member of the United Economic Forum whose aim is to work for the upliftment of the poor and needy sections of the society.

Dr. Mir Akber Ali Khan

Treasurer

Dr. Mir Akber Ali Khan obtained his Ph. D. degree from Mississippi State University majoring in Entomology. He possesses special knowledge and practical experience in Science, especially in the area of agriculture and biochemistry. He has traveled widely in India and the USA. He has also visited several countries like Canada, U.K., Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Iraq, Jordan and Sri Lanka. He possesses both teaching and extensive laboratory experience. He is a member of American Association of Clinical Chemists, Entomological Society of America.

Dr. Mohd. Hyder Khan

Member

 

Dr. Mohd. Hyder Khan is a renowned Cardiologist. He was Dean, Faculty of Medicine for three terms. He is the first Cardiologist and Professor of Cardiology of Hyderabad. He also served as the Superintendent of Gandhi Medical Hospital, Secunderabad. He is the Convener of I.D.B. with the concurrence of Government of India for the Educational upliftment of 190 projects in India. He was appointed by the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Digvijay Singh for the upliftment of the Education of minorities in M.P.

Mr. S.A. Wahab

Member

Mr. S.A. Wahab did his licentiate in Rubber Industry from London in 1965. After working in London for 3 years, he returned to Hyderabad and set up his own Poultry and Construction Units. He is associated with Imam-e-Zamana Mission as a founder member, which runs 4 schools at Hyderabad thereby providing free education to about 2500 students. He is also the Founder member of the SUES.

Mr. Nasim Nathani

Member

Mr. Nasim Nathani is a Science Graduate and founder member of SUES. He is actively associated with Aga Khan Education Services India. He served as its Director for six years. He was also the Chairman of School Improvement Programme monitored and financed by the Aga Khan Foundation. He is the founder member of SUES.

Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance

The subject wise feedback is taken from the students in the 4th week of the semester. Apart from this, the institution has suggestion boxes located in all the departments where the students can deposit their suggestions for the improvement of teaching-learning processes, infrastructure and governance. Counselling / Monitoring

The College has a well established counseling cell with two senior faculty members from each Department in the cell. This councelling cell monitors all the counseling activity in the college. Every faculty member has to take up the responsibility as counseller for 20 students. The allotment is done such that the teachers who teach subjects for the students are their counselors. Conselling files are maintained for each student which contain the complete academic track record and any problems faced by the students and how the counselor helped the student to overcome the problems.

Career Counseling

The college organises regular seminars, Guest Lectures and talks by eminent personnel who have excelled in their field to guide the students in taking the right decision with respect to their future, be it pursuing a master’s degree or joining an organization. A dedicated placement cell with Placement Director, Asst.Placement Director, Typist/Clerk and attender exists  to guide the students for career councelling.

Medical Facilities

A Dispensary is available in the campus with highly qualified doctor available  on all working days. A qualified male nurse is available on daily basis to attend day to day emergencies if any.

Co curricular activities are a means of augmenting the students knowledge in their field of specialization and in the development of their personality, presentation skills etc. The students are encouraged to establish and become members of professional association chapters. Cultural Activity:
           
The college organises Annual Alumni Meet, Annual Day, Orientation day, Students technical festival, as a part of which, various cultural activities like comedy shows, plays, music, dance, mimicry and other activities are regularly organized.

Sports Activities

Sporting activities and events are given their importance as extra curricular activities. The college provides facilities for both outdoor and indoor games and sports. Facilities for outdoor games like football, cricket , basketball, volleyball. Hockey, handball and badminton have been provided for the staff and students. Indoor facilities include athletics, table tennis, chess, caroms, weight lifting and parallel bars. A gymnasium comprising 12 multi gym, exercise and weight lifting equipment cater to the needs of the students.

Literary Activities

The IEEE student chapter of the department conducts literary activities like Debates, Extempore, Group Discussions and quizzes every fortnight. These activities are organized after working hours and the chapter provides opportunity to its members to organize these activities in turns, so that the organizational abilities of its members can be gauged and they can be groomed to take over as the office bearers for the next academic years.

Magazine/ NewsLetter

The alumni Association of the college comes out with an annual Magazine called YEARBOOK which consist of the details of all the students of the graduating batch with photos and also the details and photos of the staff members who taught these students.

Every department comes up with a quarterly newsletter highlighting all the achievements of the students and the faculty and the activities of the department over the last quarter.

Technical Activities/Tech Fest:

The college students conduct the technical festival called ADSOPHOS from year 2001. Various events like paper presentation, circuit design, Modeling, Software Design, Poster Presentation etc are organized during this event for two days. The event is famous in the engineering student’s fraternity of Hyderabad and over 5000 students participate in the activities spread over two days. The event is also well covered in local media.

The department also has a very active robotics club which conducts regular workshops every Saturday for training the student members in the art of designing manual and automatic robots and internal competitions are also organized to encourage the students to participate with their designs.

Alumni Activities:
Alumni Meet
MJCET Alumni Association organizes Alumni Meet every year in the first week of January. This event acts as a platform for the Alumni to gather at the college and meet their friends and faculty. In this event a banquet is thrown in honor of all the alumni and alumnae of the college
Congregation
The second big event is “PC Distribution ceremony titled “CONGREGATION”. This event is held every year in July to distribute the provisional certificates to the outgoing batch of graduates.
